Our co-founders met whilst studying for their Master’s degrees in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck University, London. They identified the need for improved career support for young people. With a desire to offer psychology inspired career guidance, UMi was born.

They are both stage one qualified in Occupational Psychology and accredited Occupational Test Users (Levels A/B) for the BPS. They are also members of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Association for Business Psychology (ABP). And both have a BSc in Psychology and Sociology.

For us, UMi is something which is bringing together the best parts of our experiences and careers to date and tapping into a real need for young people to know and do more.”
